Recovery codes
Recovery codes can be used to access your account if you lose access to other multi-step authentication methods, such as your email address.
To access your recovery codes, log in as usual. Once logged in, click on your name at the top right and select the "My profile" option.
Select "Security" in the left menu.
You will find "Recovery codes" at the bottom of this view. Click the "Manage" button to access your recovery codes.
Enter your password to verify that it is your user account, and click "Continue". If you have logged in through BankID, you will continue directly.
If you lose access to your other two-factor authentication methods, you'll need a recovery code to access your account. Save these recovery codes in a safe place where only you can access them.
As you use up recovery codes, the codes you used are removed from the list. You can generate new codes by clicking the "Generate Codes" button. You can also print the codes using the "Print" button.
Use recovery codes
You can use recovery codes if you log in with your email and password but have lost access to the email address. In that case, click the "Use a recovery code" link.
Enter one of your saved recovery codes and click "Verify". If the reset code is valid, you will then be logged in. A notice about how many recovery codes you have left will appear in the top right corner.
As you know, a recovery code only works once. If it does not work, it may have been used up before. Try another one of your recovery codes.
