Boardeaser supports 4-digit account numbers by default. If you have account numbers over four digits, the amounts will be summed to the nearest 4-digit account number or account group.
Example
Account number |
Opening balance |
2000 | 1000 |
20001 | 1500 |
20002 | 3500 |
Result: Account number | Result OB |
2000 | 6000 |
The reason we do not support 5-digit account numbers is that all standard graphs are built on industry-standard 4-digit base account numbers.
If necessary, we can activate 5- or 6-digit account numbers, but this means that you have to rebuild all graphs/tables at the local level, which is extensive work that you need to do yourself.
If you have a subsidiary in your group that uses 5-, 6-, 7-, or 8-digit account numbers, you can use account bridging to change the accounts to 4-digit ones in the group. This means that the automatic financial follow-up is no longer possible at the local level, provided that new standard graphs and tables have not been created (see previous paragraph for more information)
