Share transfer
Select share transfer when shares are transferred between owners, whether the current owner sells to another owner or new shareholders are added.
The transfer event can consist of one or more events. If one owner has transferred to another, it is a single event. It is possible to enter several transfers in the same event. See the guide below.
Create a share transfer event
Start by clicking "Sharegolder register" in the left menu, then click the "New action" button.
The latest action must be locked before creating a new one. Click on the "Actions" tab to see all actions in the shareholder register.
Set the event type to share transfer, date, and select the share type. If needed, add documents or write notes. Continue by clicking the "Create action" button.
Then it is possible to specify the transfer actions by clicking the "New action" button.
Share transfer to an existing owner
Select the current owner and choose the option "Existing or previous owner". Then you can select from the list below among the existing owners.
Event data
Select the number of shares to be transferred. It is also possible to set the per-share price. Afterwards, a share series is automatically generated, but you can configure and add your own share series by clicking "Add series". You can verify the current ownership distribution. Add notes as needed, then click "Save".
Transfer to a new owner
Select the current owner, then choose the "New owner" option. Then you can select whether the new owner is an individual or a legal entity. Fill in relevant information about the new owner.
Event data
Select the number of shares to be transferred. It is also possible to set the per-share price. Afterwards, a share series is automatically generated, but you can configure and add your own share series by clicking "Add series". You can verify the current ownership distribution. Add notes as needed, then click "Save".
Preview of Cap table
A preview of the cap table will be displayed. The feature allows the user to see how the action will affect the distribution of ownership. You can also select to show all shareholders.
In this view, you can add more actions to the same event by clicking "New action". The same view as above will open. When the action is complete, click "Lock".
The action can then be found in the "Action" tab
