The latest transaction in the transaction history needs to be locked, to be able to create a new action.
Sale
Choose sale when shares change hands, regardless of whether current owners sell among themselves or new shareholders are added.
The sale transaction event can consist one or more transactions. If it is only one owner who sold to another, it is only one transaction. After you select sale as action type, you enter the series of the transaction event and the date. Then click on “Create action” and then select “New transaction”.
Enter who sold to whom, number of shares and price. Check that the stock numbers are correct (Start of Series and End of Series), edit these if they are not correct. At the bottom, you can reconcile the current ownership distribution.
New action
In Shareholder Register you can register a new sale action by clicking the button "New action".
Set action type sale, date and select share type. Add documents or write notes if necessarily. Proceed by clicking the button "Create action".
Then it's possible to specify the sale transaction by clicking the button "New transaction".
New transaction
Choose seller in the dropdown menu and choose if the buyer is current shareholder or new shareholder. It's possible to add a physical person or legal entity as a new shareholder. If the buyer is a current shareholder, choose in the dropdown menu.
Then set number of shares, series start and series end. It's possible to add series if you click the button "Add series".
Proceed by clicking "Save".
Then finish the sale by clicking "Lock". It's possible to add more transactions by clicking the button "New transaction". Then the transaction is locked in the "Transaction history" tab.
