Once the distribution of ownership and the basic settings have been made, it is necessary to proceed to an acquisition analysis for each subsidiary.
In order to perform an acquisition analysis, the accounts of the subsidiaries and the group parent must be imported into the group.
Click on the tab "Settings" and the sub-tab "Acquisition analysis" and then click on the button "New acquisition analysis" behind the companies that do not have an acquisition analysis.
Then select the acquisition date and click "Save" (The acquisition date will be the same as the one set in the ownership distribution). You will now be moved to the acquisition analysis tool.
The first thing that appears is the general settings. The tax rate is set by default at 22.00% but should be updated to the tax rate applicable at the time of acquisition.
Here you fill in the values for the acquisition of the company. Further down the page you can see the summary of the acquisition analysis together with a graphical representation of the subsidiary's acquisition analysis. The graph and figures will be updated as the actual figures are filled in during the next step of the acquisition analysis.
Then click on the "Acquired equity" tab. To enter a value, click on the "Add row" button.
The system automatically generates account suggestions. To view these, click on the down arrow. Then select the correct account. It is also possible to select another account if the suggested account is not suitable.
If no account appears, it is probably because the acquisition date is wrong, the accounting is not loaded for the period or the group chart of accounts has been missed.
To use the amount that the account contains, you can click on the right arrow next to the amount. It is also possible to enter the value manually.
To select more accounts under a heading, click on "Add row" next to the appropriate heading.
If you need to delete a line, click on the arrow next to the amount and select "Delete".
Once you have filled in all the amounts under each heading, you can see a graphical summary at the bottom of the page.
To continue, scroll to the top and select "Save draft".
