After the group structure is created, the accounts need to be imported from the parent company and its subsidiaries to the group. Make sure that all companies in Boardeaser and in the SIE files have the correct organization number. See this guide if this is not done. It is also possible to upload the SIE4 files separately for each individual subsidiary. See this guide on how to do that.
If this is the first time you are going to import the accounts, you will see the button "Upload accounting files" in the start menu of the group tool. Click on the "Upload accounting files" button.
A pop-up will appear. It is possible to upload all files for the parent company and the subsidiaries.
If the correct accounting files are uploaded, their status will be displayed as "Ready for upload", otherwise any error messages will be displayed. If this is the case, cancel the upload, correct the accounts and re-import the SIE files.
It is possible to select many files at the same time. Check that the SIE files are in the correct company. If you need to change it, you can select the correct company in the dropdown menu next to each SIE file.
Then click on "Upload accounting files".
When the SIE files have been uploaded correctly, you will now see an information box with information and the button "New group accounts". You can also see the remaining tools in the group consolidation. To continue, you must create a new consolidated financial statement.
If the layout of the group is correct, it is possible to create a consolidated financial statement. Before creating the consolidated accounts, the latest SIE files should be uploaded to the accounting software. This makes it easier for the system and many steps are done automatically.
Section 1.3 shows you how to create consolidated accounts.
