Introduction
By publishing a template/template package, you can import it into other organisations you are active in. You need administrator authorization to publish a template/template package.
Definition
Templates that are possible to publish are the following:
- Agenda Template
- Board evaluation template
- Report Template
- User roles
The same principle applies to the various template types for publishing.
Template packages allow you to combine several templates into a single package. Even phrases and roles can be applied in a template package.
The template library
Click Tools > Template Library in the left menu to access the template library.
Publish template/template package
Go to the "Publish Template" tab. Here, you can see the organization's different templates, what type of template it is and when they were created.
If the organization has no visible templates, they must be created first. Read more about how to:
Publish template
Click "Publish" next to the template(s) you wish to publish.
Type Title and Description, and then select yourself or the organization as Creator. Mark the template's visibility and whether a code is required to access it. Finish by clicking the "Publish" button.
Private templates: The templates will be visible to all organizations you are a part of.
Hidden templates: Templates will be visible only to the specific users you choose to share them with. You can share the templates after they are published.
Requires code: You can also create a shareable code for your template. The code is then sent via invitation to the template or shared manually for templates that do not require an invitation. Users need the code to access the template. You can find the code by clicking the Share button under Published Templates.
In the next step, you can share the template. Click the "Add" button, and you can enter the name and email of the person(s) you want to share the template with. Finish by clicking "Send".
Once the template is published, it is available under "Published Templates". From here, you can share the template or unpublish it.
Publish template packs
Click the "Publish package" button.
Type Title and Description, and then select yourself or the organization as Creator. Mark the template package's visibility and whether code is required to access it. Then choose which templates, roles or phrases to include in the template package. Finish by clicking the "Publish" button.
Private templates: The template package will be visible to all organizations you are a part of.
Hidden templates: The template package will be visible only to the users you share it with. You can share the template packages after they are published.
