With messages, all users on your board can discuss securely and in an encrypted form. Click Message threads in the left menu to start a discussion.
Start a discussion by clicking "New Thread".
Enter the thread's topic in the "Title" field, and then write the first message in the field below. You can also choose to upload files associated with the message. Then click the "Create Thread" button.
Invite all users or select users in the "Participants" tab. They will receive an email notification when the thread is created.
Non-invited users can't see the message thread.
If you tick "Urgent" in the message, the email will be marked as urgent to read. The entire discussion thread is also classified as important in Boardeaser and listed at the top of the discussion thread list.
When you're done, click “Create Message” at the bottom right. Any attached files are uploaded simultaneously. If the message is classified as urgent, a symbol is shown.
An email is therefore sent to the recipients in the following cases:
- When the thread is created, and the first message is sent
- If either "Important" is checked when the message is sent
If the message is not the first in a thread, or if neither important nor attachments are ticked, no email will be sent to the recipients.
