To insert a budget into a graph, you must first create and upload a budget to Boardeaser.
You can create a new graph if you have an active budget set up in Boardeaser.
To produce the budget data, you must enter the formula:
"Budget()" This means that the data will be retrieved from the active budget. Inside the brackets, you must enter the accounting accounts you want to retrieve from in the budget. For example, if you want to see how much you have budgeted in turnover, you enter this formula:
Budget(-{3000-3999})
You can then fill in the outcome in "Add data source" to compare the outcome against the budget. See the picture below.
Now we see how the outcome (red) compares to the budget (blue). You can do this with all accounting accounts from 3000 - 9999.
Remember to save the graph when you're done. You can then insert it into the dashboards or reports you want.
