Add a video meeting to the meeting

This functionality requires the Video Meetings extension to be activated.

The board can meet via video, even if not everyone is physically present. A unique video room is created for each video meeting at Boardeaser's partner, Whereby. Recommended browsers are Chrome and Firefox.

Create a video meeting

In the first step, “Plan”, in the meeting information, click on the checkmark to the right of the text “Video meeting” to create a video meeting room. The video meeting room is activated 4 hours before the meeting starts and is deactivated 4 hours after the specified end time. See picture:

Use the video meeting room

When the invitation is sent, the email contains a video meeting link for the video conference room. Click on "Open video meeting" to open the video meeting link.

When logged in, the video link is at the top of the left-hand menu, which appears 4 hours before the start of the meeting. It is also under your personal overview.

When you click the link, the video conference room on Whereby opens in a new tab in your browser. To use them, you must accept that the browser and the computer use the microphone and camera.
