There are two options for loading a budget from your budget template: an empty or a row template.
Enter the budget via an empty template:
Click on "Financials" > "Data Management" in the left menu. Then click "Budget files" and "New budget".
Then select the business area/company and budget year and select the "Budget" option. Click "Next" to continue.
Mark in the option "Active budget" and click "Save".
Choose between exporting to Excel or Google Sheets and check the "Empty template" option. Then click on "Download".
Open the downloaded template. Paste accounts and account names into the template from your template, enter the monthly amounts, and add a summary in the total column.
If the monthly distribution is to be based on the previous year's outcome, it is enough to fill in the amounts in the total column and read in the template. The system will calculate the monthly distribution, considering the previous year's outcome and seasonal variations.
Enter budget via row template:
In the left menu, click on "Financials" then "Components" and then click on the "New report table" button.
Then click on the icon with the three dots (···) and select the "Paste rows" option.
Copy text and office lines from your budget template, paste them in the open pop-up box, and click on add lines.
If the accounts are not separated on their lines in the budget template, you can check "Create account groups".
The row template is then opened. Under "Settings", name the template and click "Save".
Select "Edit" again, click the three dots (···) next to "Add column", and choose "Use table as row template".
Choose a name for the template. This name will be shown when you choose a row template when creating a new budget. Click the "Save" button.
Then click on "Financials" > "Budget" in the left menu and then on the "Budget management" tab. Click the "New budget" button.
Select a business area, budget year and budget type. Continue by clicking "Next".
You can now write a description, comment or put a label and choose whether the budget should be active. Continue by clicking "Save".
A new window will then open, and to load the layout from your budget template, select "Template without data" and select your template in the drop-down list under the heading "Row template".
Click "Download". Open the file and paste the numbers from your budget.
Remember! Negative numbers may need to be changed as the income needs to be positive in the template you load.
To upload your budget, go to the left menu and select "Financials" and "Budget." Then click the "Manage budget" tab and the "Upload budget file" button.
Upload the budget file from your computer or drag and drop the budget file into the box.
The budget is now uploaded, and you can look at it by clicking to get a summary of the year.
