No board materials visible upon login
In most cases when no organisations or board materials are visible upon login, it is usually because you have duplicate user accounts, either voluntarily or involuntarily. This can, for example, be due to being invited with a different email address than the one your existing user account has.
In some cases, BankID as a login method is also activated on one user account. Since BankID as a login method can only be activated on one user account, it is common to log in with BankID but to the wrong user account.
Another common source of error is that the session is not ended, i.e., that you are not logged out and instead log in to the wrong user account. This can be resolved by manually logging out by clicking your name at the top right and selecting Log out.
It is also common that the user has accidentally created a new user account with their own organisations where the user is only invited.
In all the above scenarios, it may be a good idea to verify which email address the logged-in user account uses. You do this by clicking your name at the top right and selecting My profile. This will show which email address is logged in.
From this view, you can also see which organisations the specific user account is invited to by clicking My organisations on the left.
Log out manually by clicking your name at the top right and selecting Log out.
Once you are logged out, you can do one of the following:
- If you have never seen the board materials before, you need to ask someone with access to your board account which email address has been assigned to you on the Users tab in the Boardroom. If it is the wrong email address, a user with Administrator permissions must remove your user and send a new invitation to the correct email address.
- If you have been able to see the board materials previously, you need to check which email address you used before to log in, either by checking which email address Boardeaser mails are usually sent to or by asking someone with access to your board account which email address is assigned to you on the Users tab. Log in with the correct email address.
I have been invited but don't know how to log in
When someone invites you to Boardeaser, you receive an invitation email with instructions on how to create a user account. If you cannot find the email, do the following:

Click here and enter the email address to which the invitation was sent, and a confirmation email will be sent to this address. Then follow the instructions in the email to confirm your email address.
NOTE: If you are unsure which email address was invited, ask the person who invited you to the organisation. - Then click the “Forgot password?” link and enter the same email address again, then you can choose a password. Once you have chosen a password, you will be logged in.
It says I need to confirm my email address
When you create a user account in Boardeaser, you need to confirm your email address. During registration, an email is sent with a link and instructions on how to confirm your email address to the email address you provided during registration. Click the confirmation link in the email and log in with your email address and password.
I have not received a confirmation email
First, check your spam folder in your email client.
Otherwise, you can request a new confirmation email. Click here and enter the same email address you provided during registration. An email will then be sent with a link and instructions on how to confirm your email address. Be sure to enter the same email address you used when creating the account.
I cannot access the service at all
If you have trouble accessing the service, different solutions may be required depending on which of the following problems you are experiencing.
Cannot log in because the login page is not working
In rare cases, the login page may be completely blank without the possibility to log in. This may be because the functionality on the page (the javascript) has stopped working for some reason. Try closing the browser and opening app.boardeaser.com again. If it still does not work, try opening app.boardeaser.com in another browser. If that also does not work, try clearing your browser cache.
Error message that The connection is not private
Make sure you have entered www.boardeaser.com
Error message that The site can’t be reached
Make sure you have entered app.boardeaser.com
Service disruptions
Boardeaser communicates if there is a minor disruption in the service through banners (warning notices) at the top of Boardeaser when logged in.
It is possible to test whether there is a major disruption in the service or if it is a network problem causing issues through the website isitdownrightnow.com.
