Log in with BankID for quick and secure access to your account. Boardeaser supports logging in with BankID so that you can feel confident that no unauthorised person gains access to your information.
How it works
- Open Boardeaser: Press the button to log in with BankID.
- Identify yourself: Open the BankID app on your phone or computer. There you approve the login with your personal code, facial recognition or fingerprint.
- Done: You will be logged in automatically to your user account linked to BankID.
Why should I use BankID?
BankID is an electronic ID document used for secure identification in Sweden. It gives us the ability to guarantee your security while also offering a fast and smooth login.
- Security: Thanks to encryption and the personal security key linked to your personal identity number, BankID is one of the most secure login methods available.
- Simplicity: You don’t need to remember a unique password for Boardeaser – you use the same convenient method you are already familiar with from your bank or authorities.
- Trust: With BankID you know it is you logging into your account, giving you full control over your digital identity.

Activate BankID as a login method
This guide instructs you on how to activate BankID as an login method. To e-sign with BankID you do not need to activate login with BankID.
NOTE: If you have multiple user accounts you can only have BankID activated as a login method on one account. You will then need to deactivate BankID as a login method on the other user account first. See below on how to Deactivate BankID as a login method.
To be able to log in with BankID you must first log in once with your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, follow the guide Reset password / forgot password to create a new password.
Note that it is good to keep track of your password even though the primary login is done through BankID. This is because if you lose access to your email address you will not be able to change your email address unless you have access to your password. If you do not have access to your password you also cannot reset your password.
Activate BankID as a login method, step by step:
- Log in with your email address and password
- Click your name at the top right and select "My profile"
- Click "Security" on the left
- In the BankID section click "Activate" and follow the instructions
- Start the BankID application on your mobile device, scan the QR code shown on the website and identify yourself in the BankID application
Done! BankID is now activated. From now on you can log in by clicking "Log in with BankID" on the login page. Open the BankID application on your mobile device, scan the QR code shown and identify yourself in the BankID application.
Activate BankID as a login method, picture guide:
Start by logging in to Boardeaser with your email address and password.
Click your name at the top right and select "My profile".
Click “Security” in the menu on the left.
Under BankID click the button "Activate". Click that button.
A popup with a QR code will open on the website. Then start the BankID application on your mobile device and scan the QR code with the camera.

In the BankID application on your mobile device click the button "Scan QR code". Then point the camera at the QR code displayed on the website. Then identify yourself in the BankID application.
You have now activated BankID and can now log in using this method. Log out and try logging in with BankID.
Log in with BankID
To log in with BankID, click the button "Log in with BankID" on the login page.
Start the BankID application on your mobile device and press "Scan QR code". Scan the QR code shown on the website and identify yourself in the BankID application. You will then be logged in to Boardeaser.
Deactivate BankID as a login method
Start by logging in to Boardeaser, either by logging in with BankID or email address and password. Then click your name at the top right and select "My Profile".
Click "Security" and then the button "Deactivate" under the heading "BankID".
Troubleshooting
If you receive the error message "The personal identity number you entered is already registered with us" you have activated BankID as a login method on another user account.
To find out which other user account BankID is linked to start by:
- Logging out from the logged-in user account.
- Logging in with BankID
- Go to My profile. There you can see which email address BankID is linked to.
If you want to deactivate BankID as a login method on this account, follow the instructions above.
