You need Administrator permission to delete meetings. Meetings are deleted differently depending on whether they are active or archived.
- Delete active meeting
- Delete archived meeting
- Delete the meeting-related folder for the deleted meeting
Delete active meeting
If the meeting is active, it can be deleted by clicking "Meetings" "All meetings" in the left menu. After that, click the icon with three dots (···) and select "Remove".
Confirm the removal by following the instructions and clicking the "Remove" button.
Delete archived meeting
If the meeting is archived, it must first be unlocked before it can be deleted. Click "Meetings" > "All Meetings" in the left menu.
Then click "View archived minutes" to unlock the meeting.
Click on the icon with three dots (···) and select the "Unlock" option.
At least two members must accept the unlock (it may be fewer or more, depending on the organisation's setup). Select yourself and another person to accept the unlock and click "Submit".
If you choose yourself, it counts as your acceptance of the unlock.
The unlock is found and accepted in archived meetings at the meeting to be unlocked. Click "Approve".
When all marked members have accepted the unlocking, the meeting is unlocked and can be found under "Active meetings". After that, click the icon with three dots (···) and select "Remove" for the meeting.
Then, confirm the removal by following the instructions and clicking the "Remove" button.
Delete the meeting-related folder for the deleted meeting
When a meeting is deleted, that meeting will continue to have a meeting folder in the document archive. This meeting folder can be removed if necessary.
To remove the meeting folder, click on "Documents" "All documents" in the left menu and then click into the "Meetings" folder.
The deleted meeting does not have a padlock and can thus be deleted by clicking the icon with three dots (···) and selecting "Delete" for the meeting folder.
