To create a connection between Boardeaser and another system via Boardeaser's API, an API credential is required. This is created by the Client Manager, allowing you to connect all companies associated with the Client Manager to the service you want to integrate with.
Create API Credentials
In the Client Manager, click "Administration"> "Settings" in the left menu. Then, click the "Advanced Settings" button. Click "Create API Keys" at the bottom of the page to create them.
Then, you can click "Copy" for each field (usually, all fields are required) and save or forward them. The information at the bottom indicates what type of data will be made available via the API.
Please save the information in a secure storage location. Note that, as the information text states, the "API Password" is only shown once, so if you have not saved it and need it again, you must return here and generate a new one (but this will break all existing connections to the systems previously connected).
