A Client Manager is a central administration tool for organisations, groups or governing organisations that manage multiple organisations in Boardeaser. Instead of logging in to each individual organisation, you get a consolidated overview here of all organisations included in the Client Manager.
With Client Manager, you can:
Set up and manage one or more organisations from the same place.
Invite one or more users to one or more organisations at the same time.
Import statutory accounting centrally.
Create, schedule and distribute financial components, dashboards and report templates to selected organisations.
Note! The features and tabs you see in your Client Manager depend on which additional services your parent organisation has activated.
To gain access to a Client Manager, you must be invited by Boardeaser during onboarding or by an existing administrator in your organisation.
Find your Client Manager:
Log in to Boardeaser.
Click My organisations at the top centre of the screen.
The menu is divided into two sections: Client Managers and Boardrooms (individual organisations). Click the name of your Client Manager under the appropriate heading to go to the administration view.
You will now arrive at the Overview, which is your home page. In the left-hand menu, you will find all the sections you have access to.
As an administrator or user in a Client Manager, you do not need to be added as a user in each individual subsidiary organisation. Your permissions in the Client Manager give you the access you need.
If a person should have access to only one or a few specific organisations (and not all linked organisations belonging to the Client Manager), they can be added directly to the individual boardroom by you or by the organisation's specific administrator.
Here is a quick guide to what you can do under the different tabs in the left-hand menu:
Overview (Home page)
This displays statistics, audits and annual reports for the organisations included in your Client Manager.
Users
Displays all users linked to the organisations connected to the Client Manager. From here, you can add new users to the underlying organisations.
Tip: To remove a user from an individual organisation, do so in that organisation's user settings.
Organisations
Here you create new organisations or link existing organisations to your Client Manager. You can create categories to sort the organisations and get an overview of board members, shareholders, group structures and subscription status. Organisations whose subscriptions have been cancelled but are still active during the notice period are shown under "Without subscription".
Report templates
Here you create and manage standardised report templates, which you can then publish and distribute to all or selected organisations.
Finance
The central hub for financial management. Here you create dashboards and financial components to distribute to organisations, and you also run central accounting imports.
Documents
This is where all documents sent for e-signing or distributed to the various organisations are collected and stored.
Administration
This section contains advanced tools for administrators:
-
Administrators: Manage who should have administrator rights in your Client Manager or set up dedicated administrators for specific organisations.
User roles: Create and manage customised roles and permission levels for the Client Manager and the organisations.
Settings: Manage basic settings, colour themes and API connections.
Recycle bin: Documents deleted from the organisations are placed in this view. Here you can restore deleted documents or permanently empty the recycle bin.
Now that you understand the basic structure and how to navigate the system, the next natural step is to configure the Client Manager's basic settings.
