Learn how to manage organisations in Client Manager (CM). The guide shows you how to review linked companies, create new organisations, add existing organisations and unlink a company from Client Manager.
Once you have configured the basic settings for Client Manager (CM), you can start creating, linking and managing your customers' organisations.

Overview: Organisations in Client Manager
Under the main heading Organisations in the left-hand menu, you will find consolidated information about all organisations linked to your Client Manager. The information is divided into different subcategories:
- All organisations: Displays a list of all linked organisations. From this view, you can manage, create, add and unlink organisations.
- Board members: Lists board members and their roles for the linked organisations.
- Shareholders: Displays information about shareholders in the linked organisations.
- Group structures: Provides an overview of group links, as well as parent and subsidiary structures.
- Categories: Allows you to assign organisations based on the categories created.
Manage and view information about linked organisations
You can easily review and manage the details of a specific organisation that is already linked to Client Manager:
- Go to Organisations > All organisations in the left-hand menu.
- Click the name or title of the organisation you want to review.
From there, you can access detailed information about the specific organisation, such as:
- Contact information: Address and contact details for the company.
- Documents: Documents linked to the organisation.
- Subscriptions: Detailed information about the organisation's products, end dates and whether the product renews automatically.
- Users: See people invited to the organisation and their roles.
- Administrators: View people assigned an administrator role by Client Manager for the organisation, and their roles.
- Statistics: Overview and key figures for the specific organisation.
Create a new organisation in Client Manager
Use this option when you want to create a completely new organisation from scratch.
- Go to Organisations > All organisations.
- Click the Add organisation button in the top right.
- Enter the organisation's details and select who should be administrators.
- Click Create organisation.
Tip! Before creating new companies, make sure you specify which products should be included in the new organisations under Basic settings.
Add an existing organisation to Client Manager
Use this option if the organisation has already been created in Boardeaser and your user account has access to it.
- Go to Organisations > All organisations.
- Click the arrow next to the "Add organisation" button and select "Add existing organisations".
- Find the organisation in the list and click Add.
- (Optional) Click View next to the organisation to review details and view information for that organisation.
Unlink (remove) an organisation from Client Manager
- Go to Organisations > All organisations in Client Manager.
- Find the organisation you want to unlink, click the three-dot icon (···) on the right and select Remove.
- Confirm by clicking Remove again.
Important to know:
- This does not delete the organisation or its data, but only unlinks it from Client Manager. Invited users will still have access.
- Do you want to delete an organisation completely? See the guide Delete an organisation permanently.
- Warning: If you unlink an organisation where you have not been directly invited as a user, you will lose access to it.
