Overview and interface
Read more about Client Manager in the guide 1. Introduction to Client Manager
To access a Client Manager, you must be invited. We may have invited you as part of a setup at Boardeaser, or an administrator may need to invite you.
Once you have been invited to a Client Manager, you will find it at the top of the list after clicking the My organisations button. Click the Client Manager name to access it.
There is one section for "Client Managers" and one section for "Boardrooms" (i.e. individual organisations).
Basic settings
You can find the Client Manager's settings by clicking Administration > Settings in the left-hand menu.
From this view, you can configure the Client Manager's contact details, such as the title, email address, telephone number, and logo.
You can also set a default value for organisation type for organisations created via Client Manager, such as a housing association.
Save the changes by clicking "Save".
Advanced settings
How to activate or deactivate products and features for underlying organisations and restrict access via IP addresses.
To access the Client Manager's advanced settings, click the "Advanced settings" button in the same view as above to manage:
Products – Which products and features should be activated for all new organisations
- Here you select which products new organisations receive when they are created via Client Manager. All organisations can customise their own products by going to the Product Shop in the respective boardroom.
Boardrooms – Which platform features should be deactivated
- Here you manage which features should be activated/deactivated for all organisations for which you are the main administrators. If a field is marked as deactivated, the feature will not be visible to users invited to the organisation.
Security – Allowed IP addresses
- Settings for access to Client Manager. Restrict access to the Client Manager by entering one or more allowed IP addresses. Separate multiple addresses with spaces or on separate lines.
Save the changes by clicking "Save".
Accounting data in CM
If you have a Client Manager, you can now upload accounting data to one or more companies linked to that Client Manager.
Click "Finance" > "Accounting" to upload accounting data in Client Manager. Then click the "Upload accounting files" button.
Supported formats include SIE4, SAF-T, and Boardeaser's Excel accounting template. After you upload the accounting data, you can select which organisation in your group it should belong to. To choose between organisations in your group, you must add the organisation to Client Manager. See guide 3. Managing organisations in Client Manager (CM)
Once the accounting files have been uploaded, click "Upload accounting files".
The accounting files have now been uploaded to your group, and you can create and visualise tables and graphs based on the data.

Customisation & integration
How to create your own colour theme and generate and manage API keys for external integrations.
From the same view as above, you can also create, manage, and customise the colour theme for Client Manager and |linked rganisations.
If you connect to financial accounting systems such as Fortnox or Vitec, you can synchronise them using API keys.
To create a connection between Boardeaser and another system via Boardeaser's API, an API key is required. Create one per Client Manager so you can connect all companies linked to the Client Manager to the service you want to integrate with.
